WINDOW PANES

I press me cheek up to the glass
From the outside
It may look like im crying
Im not
I swear
Although
When i reachinside my heart
My fingertips come out wet

The glass is smooth
And flat
And cold
At the touch
It sends shivers from my nose
To my toes

I add five fingers to the window
Just the tips
I breath in
Then out
My breath fogging

I sigh
And it swells
I wait
And it fades

Its rainging
My favorite kind of weather
But today is not a pleasant one
For today the world ends

Im all alone
Thrtrs no one but me
Ive been sitting here for days
The bleak overcast
Hasnt changed since ive sat here
I dont know what time of day it is
Or if its day
Or night

I roll my head
Letting my forhead rest
Where my cheek had just been
There a dull throbbing
In the back of my head
And it slowly blends into my heartbeat

Slow and afraid
This used to be a melancholy little write, but i broke it into lines and stanzas for this writing class i never got to go to. Please dont ask. lets say it was like skipping where you never have to deal with it.

i wrote it because everyone can related to it in a way. Maybe the lonliness or the rain part or just that you sit there absent-mindedly somethimes (oh god, i know i do!)
